COVID-19 Information

In April 2022, the Province of BC announced lifting of province-wide COVID-19 restrictions. Updated public health orders may be viewed at this link.

Face coverings
Masks are no longer mandatory in indoor settings with some exceptions, such as health care settings, hospitals and vaccine clinics. Individual businesses and event organizers may continue requiring masks be worn. Please respect the choices of people, businesses and one another. It is important to recognize we will have different comfort levels and differing levels of risk and we should be able to move at our own pace. Masks continue to be a layer of protection for ourselves and for those around us.

A mask is required when travelling by air and other federally regulated travel.

Visiting long-term care facilities or seniors' assisted living facilities
Guidance for long-term care facilities including visitation guidance, infection prevention and control measures, and outbreak management is provided on the BC Centre for Disease Control website.
